“Our relationships with OEMs allow for immediate availability of products, substantial savings, and extended product-life cycles”
What began as a two-person operation in 1986 has quickly evolved into one of the leading companies that help customers expedite and streamline their supply chain management. From design to implementation, Vista leverages state-of-the-art warehouse, logistics, staging, and proof-of-concept facilities that enable it to build and deliver custom-configured solutions. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Vista serves the needs of customers located in more than four continents. The organization stocks millions of dollars worth of servers, storage, networking, legacy components, and accessories from leading technology manufacturers so that it can readily assist clients in a variety of their projects. Stocking the most sought-after technology hardware proved exceptionally valuable during the pandemic where enterprises worldwide were on the hunt for a lights-out approach to manage all aspects of their supply chain. “As technology partners with the ability to stock, stage, build, and deploy infrastructure, Vista is in a position to help when a global shortage of components can cause supply chain problems for most businesses,” says Jeff Stevens, President of Vista IT Group. “We have inventory on-hand and ready to ship when our customers need it,” he adds. This readiness also shortens lead-times for customers from months to a few days.
With 35 years of experience working in the logistics industry, the Vista team has built steadfast relationships with major OEMs such as Cisco, Dell, and HPE. Vista is the largest distributor of HPE replacement parts in the US. Not only does Vista supply parts to end-customers, but also HPE distributors, HPE VARs, and maintenance companies. As a distributor for Dell, Vista provides certified refurbished products for enterprises and end-users alike. “Our relationships with OEMs allow for immediate availability of products, substantial savings, and extended product life cycles,” notes Stevens. He shares an incident where Vista was instrumental in providing a national healthcare enterprise with the tools needed to complete their project. The client had been waiting months for their supplier to deliver an order of HPE blade servers. But HPE had recently discontinued the last generation of blade servers, the BL460 G10, along with the c7000 enclosure after a successful 15-year run. Anticipating supply and demand issues with HPEs huge product suite, Vista had strategically increased its inventory of the last remaining stock of HPE systems. Vista not only had the equipment in stock but also built and delivered the servers within just a few days—a turn-around time practically unheard of in the industry.

As a company ISO 9001:2015 certified for its Quality Management Systems (QMS), Vista features a warehouse and integration facilities, serves as a distributor, an ITAD company, and much more - all under one roof. “Each time we add a service offering or pursue a new certification, it’s because we want to be the best technology partner for our clients. We are constantly searching for ways to do more and better for our customers,” concludes Stevens.
